iWIN IX Grants: Equity Grants (Teams/Organizations)

Project Guidelines (iWIN IX Grants: Equity Grants — Teams/Organizations)

Thank you for your interest in the iWIN IX Grants: Equity Grants (9 in honor of Title IX). These grants are designed to expand equitable access to sport for girls in Idaho by supporting teams and organizations that are removing real barriers to participation.

Before you begin, please review these guidelines:

Who should apply: Idaho-based teams, schools, nonprofits, clubs, and community organizations serving girls through sport.

What we fund: Participation- and access-related expenses that directly benefit girls, such as:

  • Scholarships/fee support for participants
  • Equipment/gear (including gear libraries)
  • Transportation solutions tied to participation
  • Facility time/access
  • Program expansion that increases girls’ participation

What to include:

  • A clear description of the need and the barrier(s) you’re addressing
  • The number of girls who will directly benefit
  • A realistic timeline (30/60/90/120 days)
  • An itemized budget that matches your request

What we typically do not fund: Cash requests without documentation, expenses not tied to girls’ sport participation, or requests that cannot be verified.

Accountability: If awarded, you’ll be asked to submit a brief impact update (simple metrics + short story; photos optional) within the agreed timeline.

Efficiency + accuracy: Please keep responses clear and specific so we can review quickly. Most applications take 10–15 minutes to complete if your budget document is ready.
